Oswego, NY – Nate Cohen scored a team-high 15 points but the Roos were unable to overcome a double digit first half deficit in an 88-57 SUNYAC loss at Oswego State on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The hosts jumped out to an early 10 point lead (17-7) six minutes into the game. The Roos responded with a 9-2 run to get within three.
- Leading by 10 (35-25) Oswego used a 10-0 run to open up a 20 point advantage (45-25) in the final minute of the first half. The Lakers took a 45-26 lead into intermission.
- Cohen led the Roos with nine first-half points, while Billy Reyes had 14 for Oswego.
- Canton was never able to get closer than 16 in the second half as the lead ballooned to as many as 33 in the Oswego win.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Cohen paced the Roos with 15 points and a game-high four steals to go with five rebounds. He shot 7-for-16 from the field including a 6-for-10 mark inside the arc. Bryon Streb totaled nine points, while Jevonte Williams and Kevin Goode Jr. recorded five points each.
- Reyes paced Oswego with 17 points, while Xavier Allen, Deacon Judd and Arthur Foster had 10 points each.
- The Lakers held the upper hand in rebounds (55-36), offensive rebounds (24-9), bench points (52-20), second chance points (21-8), fast break points (18-8) and points off turnovers (18-8).
