Riley Andzel all scored goals as the SUNY Canton women's hockey team completed the weekend sweep with a 3-0 win at Chatham University on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Roos doubled up the Cougars 8-4 in shots in the opening period and that paid off at the 11:17 mark on the power play when O'Keefe tipped home an Isabella Paswaters shot as Bailey Cote also picked up an assist. Canton led 1-0 at first intermission.
- The visitors continued to dominate play in the middle period outshooting Chatham 19-6 but Cougar netminder Samantha Brophy stopped all 19 shots she faced in the frame.
- The Roos outshot Chatham 15-10 in the third period and tacked on two more scores. Small scored with the skater advantage at the 10:19 mark off passes from Danika Lalonde and Lucy Beal.
- The Cougars pulled Brophy for an extra skater with 3:42 remaining and just 13 seconds later Andzel scored an empty-netter with assists credited to Lalonde and Jane Pancoe.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Canton dominated shots 42-20 in the contest and owned a 32-28 edge in faceoffs. Paswaters led the way going 15-for-22 on draws, while Taylor Stoll was 6-for-9.
- Lenihan stopped all 20 shots she faced in the shutout, her first shutout of the season and fifth of her career. The shutout is the third for the team this season in seven wins.
- Brophy turned aside 39 shots in the loss for the Cougars.
- Canton controlled special teams play going 2-for-4 on the power play while killing off all five of its penalties.
