Men’s Hockey Receiving Votes in USCHO Top 15 Poll

Canton, NY – After an unbeaten start to the season including a win against a top 10 team, the SUNY Canton men's hockey team is receiving votes in the first United States College Hockey Online (USCHO) Top 15 poll of the regular season.

Canton received three total votes in the poll on Monday (11/3/25). This is just the third time ever the Roos have appeared in a USCHO Top 15 poll as they also received votes in the poll in consecutive weeks (12/2/19 and 12/9/19) during the 2019-20 season.

The Roos come off an unbeaten weekend with a 2-1 win against No. 7/8 nationally-ranked Trine on Friday and a 5-1 win against Misericordia on Sunday.

Four other SUNYAC schools appear in the poll with three-time defending national champion Hobart sitting in the top spot with 20 first-place votes. Oswego is ranked 10th with Plattsburgh (24 votes) and Cortland (3 votes) also received votes along with Canton in the poll.

The Roos hit the road for the first time this season when they visit Nazareth on Friday (11/7) and Elmira on Saturday (11/8).
