Canton, NY – Sierra Pabo, a junior on the women's basketball team, and
Bryon Streb, a junior on the men's basketball team, have been named this week's Roos of the Week.
Pabo scored a career and game-high 28 points to go with eight rebounds, two assists and a steal shooting an efficient 11-for-18 (61 %) from the field in a 74-63 win at Clarkson on Tuesday in the Roos lone game of the week. Pabo leads Canton averaging 19.7 points per game this season as the team is off to a 3-0 start.
Streb averaged 15.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 2.0 assists per game shooting 44% from the field and 36% from three-point range over three games last week for the Roos. He opened the week with 10 points and game-highs of seven rebounds and five assists in a 91-77 loss at Clarkson on Tuesday. The junior followed that up with 18 points, nine rebounds, four steals and an assist in a 65-57 loss to SUNY Poly on Friday. Streb closed out his week with 19 points, 12 rebounds and two steals in a 106-77 win against VTSU Lyndon on Saturday.
