Canton, NY – After continuing their strong start to the season and sitting at 4-0 with a pair of wins against Nazareth and Elmira, the SUNY Canton men's hockey team is receiving votes in both the United States College Hockey Online (USCHO) and D-III Hockey News Top 15 polls.
Canton received 19 votes in the USCHO poll (11/10/25), the most of any team not in the top 15. This was the second straight week they earned votes in the USCHO poll. The Roos also received three votes in the D III Hockey News Top 15 poll.
Other SUNYAC schools also loom large in the polls with three-time defending national champion Hobart ranking first in both polls. Oswego is ranked eight in the USCHO poll and ninth in the D III Hockey News polls, respectively. Plattsburgh is ranked 15th in the D III Hockey News poll and receiving 10 votes in the USCHO poll.
