Sam Scott recorded a shot but visiting Buffalo State remained unbeaten in SUNYAC play earning a 5-0 win against the SUNY Canton women's soccer team on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bengals got on the board first in the 23rd minute when Riley Stevenson collected a loose ball near the top of the 18 off a throw-in and beat Roos keeper Ryan into the upper 90.
- Buffalo State doubled its lead in the 35th minute once again converting off a throw-in. This time Makenzie Below's throw from the near sideline put Olivia Kilmer in perfect position as she turned and fired a shot into the upper right corner.
- The visitors tacked on a third goal in the 54th minute when Willa Overton hit Emily Bombard with a breakout pass as she dribbled in placing a shot into the left corner.
- Emily Maczka made it 4-0 in the 81st minute when she converted a shot into the open net after a Roos defensive miscue in front of net.
- Scott recorded a shot attempt with just over two minutes remaining for the Roos. Â
- The Bengals concluded the scoring in the final minute of play as Scarlett Chambers played a nice ball up the middle as Lorelei Right flicked the ball onto Reagan Michel who finished for the 5-0 final.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- The Bengals had advantages in shots (30-1), shots on goal (15-0) and corner kicks (15-1).
- Five different players scored, while four other players recorded assists in a balanced offensive effort for Buffalo State.
- Ryan made 10 saves in the loss for the Roos, her sixth double digit save performance in 10 outings this season.
- Liz Flores and Taylor Clisson combined for the shutout as neither was forced to make a save playing the first and second half, respectively, for the visitors.
