HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Cardinals held a 12-2 shots advantage in the opening half and Ryan saved the first five shots she faced on that afternoon.
- However, Plattsburgh's shot advantage paid off in the 44th minute when Hannah Meyers initial shot from long range was tipped off the crossbar by Ryan. Alana DeLacruz was sitting at the far post and headed home the rebound for her fifth goal of the season.
- Shannon Platt and Kenadie Garrow registered first half shots for the Roos, but the visitors led 1-0 at intermission.
- Much like the first half, Ryan stopped the first five shots she faced in the second half before the Cardinals broke through in the 73rd minute. Sydney Myers collected a loose ball at the top of the box and fired a shot into the upper right corner for the 2-0 advantage and ultimate final score.
