Kyra O'Keefe scored a first period goal that would eventually become the game-winner as the SUNY Canton women's hockey team defeated SUNY Potsdam 1-0 on Friday evening.

- O'Keefe's goal came at 18:55 of the first period, tipping a shot from junior Danika Lalonde past Bears goaltender Magalie Parent. Junior Jane Pancoe earned the secondary assist.
- Potsdam outshot the Roos 14-10 in the second period while Canton outshot the Bears 11-9 in the third period.
- O'Keefe's goal would stand as the game winner to give the Roos the 1-0 victory over the Bears.

- O'Keefe's goal was her third of the season. Lalonde's assist gives her seven points to lead the team. Pancoe earned her first point of the season.
