Oswego, NY – John McCall led the SUNY Canton men's golf team posting a two-day 36-hole score of 172 (+30) to finish in 39th place out of 47 golfers at the Oswego State Fall Invitational at Oswego Country Club on Saturday and Sunday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- McCall fired an 88 but improved with an 84 on Sunday. Brody Fuhrey was right on his heels tying for 40th place with a 95 on Saturday but improved by 13 strokes on Sunday.
- Donald Cordova finished in 42nd place (93-85), while Kyle Murphy was 43rd (97-83).
- The Roos finished in a tie for eighth place out of nine teams with SUNY ESF with 707 strokes. Canton posted a 373 on Saturday but a 334 on Sunday, while the Mighty Oaks had a 351 Saturday and 356 Sunday. Hobart won the team title with 602 strokes (302-300) edging out Oswego State A's 608 (308-300) and Nazareth's 610 (306-304).
- Nazareth's Charlie Calcagni won medalist honors with a 146 (75-7`), while there was a four way tie for second place.
