New Hartford, NY – John McCall fired a round of seven-over par, 78, to tie for first place with three others in a dual match against Utica University at Yahnundasis Golf Club on Wednesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- McCall went out in 40 before coming home in 38 for a 78. He tied Utica's Adam Woodmansee who shot a 42 on the front and 36 on the back as well as the Pioneers' Louie Roman who carded a 40 on the front and 38 on the back.
- Kahontiio Lazore finished in sixth out of 15 golfers with an 81 (41-40). Kyle Murphy tied for 11th with an 86 (43-43), while Brody Fuhrey (44-42) also shot an 86 and Donald Cordova placed 15th (52-43).
- Utica's 'A' team won the team title with 321 strokes, while SUNY Canton was second with 331 strokes. Utica 'B' finished third with 332 strokes.
