Gwendolyn Glennon led the Roos men's and women's golf teams with rounds of 79 and 87, respectively, in the final round of the St. Lawrence Invitational at Oliver D. Appleton Golf Course. Junior
Raven Murphy shot a career low round despite the windy conditions on Sunday.
HOW IT HAPPENED - MEN
- McCall paced the Canton men shooting a 79 on Sunday for a two-day total of 162 to finish in a tie for 29th place out of 58 golfers. He had a birdie on the par four 15th hole along with nine pars going out in 41 and coming home in 38. Kahontiio Lazore carded an 84 on Sunday going out in 40 and coming home in 44 with birdies on the par four first hole and the par five 18th hole. He finished with a two-day total of 166 to finish in 39th place.
- Brody Fuhrey (50th), Kyle Murphy (54th) and Tyler Martin (55th) rounded out the Roo competitors. Murphy and Martin each had one birdie on the day.
- The Roos finished in 10th place out of 11 teams with a two-day total of 684 strokes (333-351) ahead of Paul Smith's (754). St. Lawrence's 'A' team won the team title (602) ahead of second place St. John Fisher (605) and third place Clarkson 'A' (616).

HOW IT HAPPENED - WOMEN
- Glennon paced the Roos for the second straight day going out in 44 and coming home in 43 with seven total pars on the round. She finished with a two-day total of 178 strokes (91-87) to tie for 15th place out of 38 golfers. Maddy Thompson recorded a round of 115 (58-57) for a two-day total of 228.
- Raven Murphy posted a career best 112 (50-62) with a par on the par three third hole. Her two-day was 230 strokes, 33 lower than last year at the same event.
- The Roos played with three individuals on Sunday as four players are required for a team score. Ithaca won the team event with a two-day total of 654 (325-329). SUNY Cortland (686) and Union (689) rounded out the top three.

WHAT'S NEXT
The men's golf team returns to the course on Tuesday when they take part in the Clarkson Invitational at Potsdam Town & Country Club at 10 a.m. The women are next scheduled to take part in the Keuka College Fall Invitational at Lakeside Country Club on September 17th at 10 a.m.
