Cobleskill, NY – Nick Shoemaker had two hits each in both ends of a doubleheader but the Roos fell by scores of 9-1 and 4-1 at SUNY Cobleskill on Sunday in both team's NAC openers.

GAME 1 – BOX SCORE
- The Roos got on the board first in the top of the first when Nick Barone singled home Shoemaker who got the inning started with a one out base hit.
- Cobleskill responded with five runs in the bottom of the first. The Tigers tacked on three more runs in the fifth and one in the sixth.
- Shoemaker led the Roos in the opener going 2-for-4 while Alphonse Fuca, Eliezer Vazquez, Maxwell Rose, Mike Henry and Barone had one each.
- David Flora, Dylan Pohl and Matthew Snyder led the Tigers with two hits each.
- Wyatt Palmer picked up the win on the mound tossing six innings allowing one run with six strike outs and two walks.
- Daniel Aviles took the loss for Canton surrendering five total runs with a walk and two strike outs in three innings.

GAME 2 – BOX SCORE
- The nightcap on Sunday proved to be a low scoring affair with Cobleskill getting on the scoreboard first with an RBI walk in the second. The Tigers added another unearned run in the second inning.
- Canton got within one when Shoemaker scored on a wild pitch in the fifth.
- David Flora hit a solo shot in the sixth and Snyder followed with an RBI single for two insurance runs in the 4-1 win.
- Shoemaker once again had a multi-hit outing, while John LaPorte, Danny Santana, Frank Nieto, Vazquez and Barone had the other Canton hits.
- Stephen Tejada had a pair of hits for Cobleskill.
- Andrew Jarkow threw a complete game effort to earn the win for the Tigers with five strike outs and a walk.
- Hunter LaValley surrendered three earned runs with two strike outs and two walks in six innings in the loss.
