Potsdam, NY – Freshman Nolan Sullivan allowed just one goal and the defense in front of him allowed just seven shots on goal, but the SUNY Canton men's soccer team dropped a tight 1-0 decision on the road at SUNY Potsdam on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Logan Bush broke the scoreless tie in the 19^th minute for the Bears.  His goal was assisted by Luke Tyler.
• The Roos had an opportunity to tie the game in the 24^th minute but Potsdam goalkeeper Lucas Schiel made the save to secure his shutout.
• In the second half, the Roos allowed just three shots on net and Sullivan was up to the task stopping all three attempts.  Canton's offense was not able to generate any shots on goal and the game finished 1-0 in favor of the Bears.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• Bush led the Bears with six shot attempts in addition to his goal.  Junior Foster Hutchins registered the only shot on goal for the Roos.
• Sullivan notched six saves on the evening while his counterpart Schiel made one save for the Bears.
