Pittsford, NY – Kahontiio Lazore finished in the top 10 to lead the SUNY Canton men's golf team at the Nazareth Fall Invitational at Locust Hill Country Club on Monday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Lazore carded a round of 12 over par 84 to tie for ninth place out of 32 golfers. He went out in 41 before coming home in 43. The rookie finished with a birdie on the 10th hole and added four total pars.
- Brody Fuhrey tallied a score of 92 (47-45) as he birdied the 17th hole and added a pair of pars to tie for 20th. John McCall finished in 23rd place with a score of 93 as he went out on the front nine in 42 but shot a 51 on the back. He registered three pars on the day.
- Ben Wiley was right behind McCall with a score of 95 (49-46) to place 24th. He recorded four pars including three in his final four holes. Kyle Murphy rounded out Canton's team with a 97 shooting 42 on the front but a 55 on the back nine. He tallied five pars on his round including four on the front.
- The Roos finished in fourth place out of six teams with 364 strokes. Nazareth's 'A' team won the team title with 325 strokes ahead of Hobart (331) and Russell Sage (333).
- Sage's Ryan Arp earned medalist honors (79) one stroke ahead of Nazareth's Vincent Falgiatano (80).
