Sullivan Makes 12 Saves for Roos Against Lakers

Oswego, NY – Freshman Nolan Sullivan made 12 saves, including seven in the second half, but the SUNY Canton men's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to Oswego State in SUNYAC play on Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED 
  • Ian Husselbeck opened the scoring in just the second minute of play.  Sullivan and the defense stiffened keeping the Lakers off the scoresheet for the rest of the half.
  • Tajay Ellis and Jason Wuytack added two more goals early in the second for Oswego, pushing the lead to 3-0.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
  • Husselbeck and Wuytack both scored their second of the season, Ellis netted his third.
  • Sullivan recorded 12 saves for the Roos in his fifth career start.  Andre Bourjollu and Max Mahike split time in the shutout for the Lakers.
