New Paltz, NY – The SUNY Canton women's soccer team visited SUNY New Paltz Saturday afternoon. The Hawks, celebrating Senior Day, scored six first half goals and finished with five in the second half to win 11-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Hawks offense came right out of the gate, aggressively putting up four goals in the first 22 minutes, paced by Rachel Eisert who finished with a hat trick on the day and scored two goals in the first 20 minutes of the game.
- Gaby Treble starred as well, leading off the game with a statement tally and tacking on another goal in the 47th minute.
- Parris Burke jumped in on the offense early in the second half, scoring at just 39 seconds into the second frame.
- Late in the second half Brooke Kelleher and Abby Macleod buried the final two goals of the game respectively.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- New Paltz lead in shots (38-1), shots on goal (24-0) and corner kicks (10-0).
- Senior Mayella Rubin had the lone shot for the Roos on the afternoon.
- Senior goalkeeper Skylar Williams stopped nine shots on the day through 67 minutes, while Mackenzie Ryan came in relief in the second half to finish with three saves in 23 minutes of action.
- Eisert lead the attack for the Hawks with a Hat Trick, followed by 2 goals from Treble and a noteworthy day from Brooke Kelleher who had a goal and assist.
