Johnson, VT – Six Roos scored in double figures paced by a career-high 27 from
Sierra Pabo as the SUNY Canton women's basketball team cruised to a 106-35 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) road win at VTSU Johnson on Friday evening.
The 106 points are the most by the Roos in the D-III era and at least the last 14 seasons. Canton's previous high mark was 98 in a 98-27 win against Wells last season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After things were close at 8-6 early on the Roos outscored the Badgers 16-4 the remainder of the first quarter to lead 24-10 after 10 minutes of action.
- Canton completely controlled the second quarter outscoring the hosts 28-7 taking a 52-17 lead into intermission.
- The Roos shot nearly 58% from the field and 63% from three-point range in the opening half while holding the Badgers without a made three.
- Hope Aniceto had 11 first-half points, Pabo had 10 and Jayda Pina had nine. Gabby Wardwell paced Johnson with nine in the opening 20 minutes.
- SUNY Canton continued to dominate play in the second half outscoring Johnson 21-9 in the third quarter and 33-9 in the fourth quarter en route to the convincing win.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Sierra Pabo led all players with a career-high 27 points to go with five rebounds on 12-for-19 shooting. Pina tied her career-high with 16 points hitting on seven of her 11 field goal attempts, while Torie Moore tied a season-high with 12 points and added nine rebounds on 4-for-7 shooting.
- Aniceto recorded 11 points and a career-high eight assists, while Samantha Dayter stuffed the stat sheet with 11 points, a career-high eight steals to go with five assists and four rebounds. Emma Perez was the other Roo to reach double digits with 10 points on 5-for-6 shooting and added five boards. Kennady Allen ripped down a team and career-high 10 rebounds.
- Wardwell led the hosts with 13 points and a game-high 15 rebounds, while Faith Meade chipped in 12 points.
- Canton shot 56% from the field and nearly 39% from three-point range while holding Johnson to marks of 26% and 7%, respectively.
- The Roos controlled rebounds (48-27), points off turnovers (53-9), points in the paint (66-22), bench points (31-2) and fast break points (22-8).
