Canton, NY – Anthony Marion and
John McCall tied for the low SUNY Canton rounds on the men's side, while
Gwendolyn Glennon led the women as the SUNY Canton men's and women's golf teams hosted their home invitationals on Wednesday at Partridge Run Golf & Country Club.
The men finished third, while the women posted a fourth-place finish.

HOW IT HAPPENED - MEN
- Marion and McCall recorded rounds of 79 to tie for 10th place out of the 57 golfer field. Marion shot a 40 on the front and 39 on the back, while McCall posted a 38 on the front and 41 on the back. Both players birdied the par 5 16th hole.
- Adam Szlamczynski (15th place) posted a round of 80 (40-40) with a birdie on the par 5 seventh hole.
- Jayden Romig placed 25th with an 82 (41-41), while Brody Fuhrey tallied an 88 (44-44) as he birdied the par 4 second hole and eagled the par 5 16th. Tyler Bedell competed as an individual with a 95 (49-46).
- Delhi's Noah Tyler captured medalist honors with an even par 72 just ahead of St. Lawrence's Wesley Bevins (73).
- The Roos finished third out of the 10 team field with 320 strokes. SUNY Delhi's A team won the team title with 309 strokes edging out Clarkson's A team.

HOW IT HAPPENED - WOMEN
- Glennon led the Roos with a 97 (48-49) to place seventh out of 19 golfers. Maddy Thompson registered a 111 (57-54) for 12th place.
- Raven Murphy finished with a round of 120 (58-62) for 14th place closely followed by Olivia Drino in 15th place (121-64-57). Rowan Cady rounded out the Roo competitors with a 147 (69-78).
- St. Lawrence's Mary McCann won medalist honors with a career-low round of 3-over 75 that included four birdies. The Saints won the team title with 343 strokes.
