Potsdam, NY – Freshman
Emma Cahill made 11 saves for the SUNY Canton women's soccer team in their season opener against SUNY Potsdam on Friday. Despite Cahill's efforts, the Bears stout defense held the Roos scoreless in a 3-0 win.
- Morgan Williams opened the scoring for Potsdam just under the 16 minute mark.
- The Bear's doubled their lead on a goal by Madison Wagner that was assisted by Kienle Burns just before the half.
- Potsdam closed out the scoring in the second half on an Adrianna Orlando goal with the assist going to Samantha Parsons.

The Roos travel to Massachusetts to square off against Elms College on Sunday September 3rd at noon.
