- Castleton would score four runs in both the first and second innings before adding seven in the third to earn the run-rule win.
- Sophia Gundersen, LoPiccolo and Taryn Morrissey all recorded hits for the Roos.
- Hannah Mosher paced the Spartans going 3-for-3 with a home run, thre runs and three RBI.
- Lauren Ross earned the win on the mound for the Spartans striking out four over the five innings. Abigail Sawyer was handed the loss for Canton allowing five earned runs with a strike out and four walks in 1.1 innings.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans would again use a four-run first inning and seven-run third inning to build an 11-0 lead after three innings in the nightcap.
- The Roos would find a breakthrough courtesy of a Currie single that scored LoPiccolo from second in the fourth frame.
- Currie had two hits in the nightcap while LoPiccolo supplied the other.
- Samera Rideout and Kayleigh Osterhaudt led the Castleton bats with three doubles and three RBI each.
- Katie Gallagher took the win for Castleton allowing just three hits while striking out six over five innings.
- Caitlyn Reed received the loss on the mound for the Roos giving up 11 earned runs with three walks in 2.1 innings.
