Cobleskill, NY – Sophia Gundersen finished with three hits in the nightcap, but the SUNY Canton softball team dropped a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) doubleheader at SUNY Cobleskill by scores of 9-0 and 14-6 on Saturday afternoon.

GAME 1 – BOX SCORE
- Marissa Wheeler threw a no-hitter in the opener and the Cobleskill bats recorded nine runs on nine hits.
- The Tigers scored three in the first inning on an Alexis Miranda homer and added five in the second inning and one in the third for the run-rule win.
- Caitlyn Reed drew a walk in the Roos final at-bats to break up the perfect game.
- Mackenzie Wendelken led Cobleskill with three hits and two RBI and Miranda and Wheeler had two hits each while combining to drive in five runs.
- Wheeler struck out 10 batters and walked one in five innings in the win.
- Abigail Sawyer took the loss allowing eights runs, only two of which were earned, with three strike outs and a walk in two innings.

GAME 2 – BOX SCORE
- The nightcap was a high scoring affair as Cobleskill led 4-2 after two innings. Taryn Morrissey and Gundersen executed w a double steal with Gundersen scoring in the first, while a Gundersen RBI single scored Priscilla Soule in the second.
- The Tigers used a five-run third to open a 9-2 advantage after three innings.
- Canton tacked on two runs each in the fourth and fifth innings. Gundersen legged out an infield single to score Sawyer and Angelina LoPiccolo reached on a fielder's choice to score Jheri White in the fourth. In the fifth Jodie Soultau scored Reed on an RBI ground out and Soule scored on a wild pitch.
- The hosts added two runs in the fourth and three in the fifth for the 14-6 final.
- Jaydaci Chamberlain earned the win for the Tigers throwing four innings allowing three earned runs with three strike outs and four walks.
- Reed was credited with the loss giving up 11 earned runs with five walks in 4.2 innings.
