Shoemaker Sets Single-Game RBI Record as Roos Swing Past Poly, 19-10

Utica, NY – Nick Shoemaker drove in a SUNY Canton NCAA D-III era single-game record six runs as the SUNY Canton bats led the Roos to a 19-10 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) road win at SUNY Poly on Friday.

The six RBI by Shoemaker on Friday breaks the mark previously held by Head Coach Wilson Matos, Seth Douglas, Brandon Welch, Jeremy Baez and Gerardo Torres, who all had driven in five runs in a game. That single-game mark is the best for the Roos in the D-III era and dating back until at least 2012.
