HOW IT HAPPENED
- Mansfield opened the scoring in the second inning off a Morgan Berndt inside-the-park homerun and add two more courtesy of a single by Kayla Vonstein and double by Madison Bailey to take a 3-0 lead.
- The Mountaineers tacked on another run in the third followed by two in the fourth and one more in the fifth to build a 7-0 lead.
- Mackenzie Currie supplied the Roos only hit of the contest in the fourth inning.
- Annabella Putnam earned the win on the mound for Mansfield going all seven innings, allowing just one hit and striking out nine.
- Caitlyn Reed received the loss for the Roos allowing 11 hits while walking two and striking out five in six innings on the mound.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Roos would take the lead early in the top of the first inning as Caitlyn Reed reached on an error by the first baseman allowing Padilla-Gundersen to score from second.
- USJ answered quickly in the bottom-half of the inning tacking on five runs to take a 5-1 lead.
- The Blue Jays added three more runs in the second before exploding for eight in the fourth to stretch their lead to 16-1.
- Padilla-Gundersen and LoPiccolo accounted for all three hits for the Roos.
- Paige Fekete went the distance for USJ, allowing just three hits while striking out nine in five innings.
- Reed took the loss for the Roos giving up eight runs (six earned) on nine hits over three innings.

The Roos will wrap up their South Carolina trip Wednesday when they face off with Wilson College and College of Mount Saint Vincent at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., respectively.
