Delhi, NY – Quran DuBois posted game-highs of 25 points and 10 rebounds but the SUNY Canton men's basketball team was unable to overcome a double-digit halftime deficit in a 97-83 road loss at SUNY Delhi on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Roos jumped out to an early 7-3 lead after a DuBois three-pointer, but the Broncos responded with a 9-0 run to take the lead for good.
• Delhi used another 11-0 run to blow open an 18-point advantage with just less than eight minutes left in the opening half. The hosts took a 46-35 lead into intermission.
• Canton was unable to get closer than 10 in the second half as the Broncos earned the conference win.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• The 25 point and 10 rebound effort was Dubois' first double-double of the season. Levy finished with 19 points and Juztin Chambers-Phillips and Eli Larson supplied 11 points apiece. Sammy Angelo chipped in a career-high seven points in 13 minutes off the bench.
• Jacob Beach and Lester McCarthy led the Broncos with 18 points, while Mavenson Therneus posted 13 points. Isiah Barnes finished with a double-double on 10 points and 10 assists adding seven rebounds.
• Canton held the upper hand in fast break points (26-14), while Delhi controlled second chance points (17-5) and points off turnovers (18-8).
