Moe Biao led the SUNY Canton offense, but a strong first half carried visiting SUNY Cobleskill to an 83-66 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) win on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Cobleskill jumped out to an early 16-5 lead six minutes into the contest. The Roos got within 19-10 after a Biao three-pointer. The Tigers closed the final 7:19 of the half on a 13-7 run to take a 40-25 lead into intermission.
- Biao led the Roos with eight points in the first half, while Goode Jr. had seven. Andre Starks tallied 12 in the opening 20 minutes for the Tigers, while Kobe Long posted eight.
- The Roos trimmed the deficit to as little as nine in the second half, but that was as close as they would get as the Tigers held on for the win.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Goode Jr. led the Roos with 17 points and six rebounds, while Biao tallied 15 points and Bryon Streb added 12 points. Terrence Fields and Eli Larson chipped in seven points each.
- Long led all players with 20 points, while Starks and Jeremy Rosario added 16 each with Rosario hauling down a game-high 11 boards. Iziah Pigott also scored in double figures with 10 points, while Jermaine Wheeler ripped down 10 rebounds.
- The teams combined for 50 fouls as the Tigers went 27-for-32 at the line compared to 24-for-36 for the Roos. Cobleskill shot 40% from the field and three, while Canton had marks of 35% and 20%.
- Cobleskill had the upper hand in rebounds (46-33), second chance points (20-5) and points off turnovers (18-9). Canton controlled fast break points 12-2.
