Sierra Pabo all scored in double figures as the Roos remained unbeaten at 5-0 on the season with a 79-68 road win at Alfred University on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Roos jumped out to an early 15-8 lead six minutes in thanks to an 8-0 run. Canton took a 22-16 lead after the opening quarter.
- The Saxons used a 9-4 run to cut the deficit to one early in the second quarter. Canton closed the final 6:49 of the quarter on an 18-10 run to take a 44-35 lead into intermission. Bartle led the way offensively with 14 points and 10 rebounds in the opening 20 minutes.
- Play was dead even at 14 apiece in the third quarter as the Roos took a nine point lead to the fourth quarter. The Roos extended their lead to as many as 14 with 6:21 left in the game as Alfred never got closer than seven points the rest of the way.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Bartle led all players with 24 points, 15 rebounds and five assists as she went 8-for-9 from the free throw line. Aniceto tallied 18 points, while Pabo finished with 12. Shannyn St. Andrews, Samantha Dayter and Jayda Pina chipped in six points each with St. Andrews adding eight boards.
- Leah Harkenrider led Alfred with 17 points, while Samantha Fischer added 16.
- Canton held the upper hand in rebounds (45-37), points in the paint (34-20), and second chance points (19-6), while the Saxons controlled bench points (32-13).
- The Roos shot nearly 43% from the field, 29% from three and 80% from the line, while Alfred posted marks of nearly 38%, 46% and 56%, respectively.
