Cobleskill, NY – Junior Skylar Williams recorded a seven save shutout to lead the SUNY Canton women's soccer team to a scoreless draw in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) game at SUNY Cobleskill on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Cobleskill held a slim 5-4 advantage in shots on goal in the opening half but the teams went into intermission tied at 0-0.
• The Roos controlled play in the second half outshooting Cobleskill 21-6 including a 9-2 shots on goal advantage but the game would end in a draw.

 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• For the game the Roos held the upper hand in shots (27-15), shots on goal (13-7), while the Tigers controlled corner kicks (6-2).
• Shannon Platt paced Canton with three shots on goal, while Olivia McLennan and Alexis Sullivan supplied two each.
• Williams made seven saves for the Roos, while Destiney Irizarry stopped all 13 shots she faced for Cobeskill.
