Johnson, VT – VTSU Johnson's Matt House scored five goals to lift the host Badgers past the SUNY Canton women's soccer team in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) game on Tuesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Brittany Love got the scoring started for the hosts in the fifth minute and Matt House added a Badger goal in the 16th minute for a 2-0 lead at intermission.
• House would score four more times over a 21 minute stretch in the second half leading to the convincing 6-0 final.

 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• With the five goals on the afternoon House upped their season goal total to 18 on the year.
• Johnson held a 14-2 edge in shots on goal and 4-1 mark in corner kicks.
• Meah Boyles had both of Canton's shots on goal.
• Emma Cahill finished with eight saves in the loss, while Isabel Atkisson made two stops for the Badgers.
