Emma Cahill made eight saves and recorded her first career shutout as the SUNY Canton women's soccer team tied SUNY ESF.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- SUNY ESF created the first dangerous opportunity at 19:18 when Ryan Hesch blasted a laser from outside the penalty area, but Cahill was there for the save.
- The Mighty Oaks again created a chance later in the second half on a scramble in front of the net. Jessica Bolton collected the loose ball and drove it toward the lower right corner and a Cahill was there, diving to her right to keep the game scoreless.
- The Roos has a solid chance of their own at the 68:06 mark, as sophomore Meah Boyles banged a shot through traffic. Goalkeeper Isabelle Chavoustie was able to collect the ball before Canton could do more damage.
- Minutes later, SUNY ESF's Bolton tipped a ball at close range but Cahill was there to stop the ball and preserve the shutout.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Boyles and sophomore Caitlin Kelly each registered shots for the Roos.
- Cahill made eight saves and Chavoustie finished with one.
