Sophia Munoz both posted double-doubles as the SUNY Canton women's basketball team earned a 67-57 road win at Maine Farmington on Saturday to complete the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) weekend sweep.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Roos jumped out to a quick 10-5 lead early on and took a 19-13 lead after the first quarter.
- The Beavers bounced back outscoring Canton 15-10 in the second quarter as the Roos took a 29-28 lead into intermission.
- The game came down to a decisive third quarter as Canton outscored their counterparts 24-15 in the stanza including a 7-0 run midway through the quarter spurred by buckets from Jayda Pina, Emma Perez and Culkin. Canton led 53-43 after three quarters.
- The visitors scored the first five points of the fourth quarter behind a three from Culkin and layup from Munoz to open a 15-point advantage, their largest lead of the game. The Beavers would never get closer than nine points the rest of the way.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Culkin led Canton with 16 points, 13 rebounds and seven steals, her third double-double of the season. Munoz tallied her sixth double-double of the season with an 11-point, 13 rebound performance. Aniceto netted 16 points, while Samantha Dayter posted six points, 12 rebounds and seven assists. Pina and Perez chipped in six points apiece.
- Jaycie Stevens led the hosts with 17 points, while Maddy White tallied 14 points.
- The Roos dominated rebounds 47-30, while controlling second chance points 13-0. The Beaver bench outscored the Canton reserves 24-12.
