Joie Culkin recorded a season-high 21 points to lead three players in double figures as the SUNY Canton women's basketball team earned an 81-58 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) win v. Thomas College on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Neither team led by more than three in the first quarter as the Roos owned a slim 17-16 advantage after 10 minutes.
- Canton dominated the second and third quarters to take control of the game. The hosts outscored the Terriers 18-6 in the second quarter to take a 35-22 lead into intermission.
- Hope Aniceto led the Roos with 10 points in the opening half, while Culkin added nine. Elena Alderman and Keira Gilman posted five points apiece for the Terriers.
- The Roos more than doubled up Thomas 31-15 in the third quarter to put the game out of reach at 66-37 after 30 minutes of action.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Culkin recorded a game and season-high 21 points, while Aniceto added 19 points. The duo combined to shoot 11-for-19 from the field. Sophia Munoz tallied her seventh double-double of the season on 12 points and 14 rebounds. Jayda Pina chipped in seven points off the bench, while Emma Perez tallied six. Samantha Dayter dished out a game-high seven assists.
- Samantha Fortin posted 12 points and eight rebounds for the visitors, while Hannah Coolen finished with 11 points.
- Canton controlled rebounds (54-43), points off turnovers (27-11), second chance points (26-15) and points in the paint (40-30).
