Canton, NY – A goal by sophomore
Martin Torales gave SUNY Canton a first half lead, but two early second-half goals by Maine Farmington led to the Roos first Northern Athletic Conference (NAC) loss.

HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ
- Torales scored his third goal of the season at 37:11 of the first half on a penalty kick. His blast just beat a diving Jonah Sautter to give the Roos the 1-0 lead.
- The Beavers knotted the game at one when Coleman Watson redirected a header from William Dowse past junior goaltender Owen Kwong.
- Maine Farmington took the lead for good less than 10 minutes later, on a chip shot by Zach Chaisson that drifted just over the outstretched hands of Kwong.
- The Roos had several quality chances throughout the second half, including two shots on net and two blocked shots, but couldn't find the equalizer as time expired.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Kwong made three saves for the Roos while the Beavers Jonah Sautter logged five.
- Torales finished with four shots on goal for the Roos while senior Agustin Nunez and junior Brennan Harmer finished with one each.
