Potsdam, NY – Zach Miner went 2-for-3 and drove in a pair of runs but the SUNY Canton baseball team fell at Clarkson University by a score of 11-2 on Tuesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Golden Knights, who batted as the away team in a game that was originally scheduled to be played in Canton, scored seven runs over their first four at-bats including four runs in the fourth.
- The Roos got on the board in the fourth when Miner doubled to right field to bring home Nick Shoemaker. Miner added another RBI in the sixth on a single to center that also scored Shoemaker.
- Clarkson tacked on another four runs in the ninth for the 11-2 final.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Miner went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI, while Shoemaker scored a pair of runs. Noah Reyes, Kevin Kapfer and Frank Nieto had one hit each, while four different Roos were hit by pitches.
- Colby Brouillette led the Knights going 3-for-5 with two home runs, a double and 4 RBI. Kent Wilson also drove in a pair of runs.
- Griffin Racey threw a complete game for Clarkson allowing one earned run on five hits with a strike out.
- Ty Reed took the loss for Canton surrendering seven runs with a strike out and three walks in five innings.
