Oneonta, NY – Dyllon Bougor scored a pair of runs but the SUNY Canton baseball team dropped a doubleheader by scores of 9-1 and 9-2 at SUNY Oneonta on Sunday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

GAME 1 – BOX SCORE
- The Roos had an early lead in the top of the first of the opener when Bougor scored on a wild pitch.
- Oneonta responded with two runs in the bottom of the first and added two more in the second and sixth innings as well as three in the third.
- Bougor, Dylan Allen and Alphonse Fuca recorded one hit each for Canton, while Allen also reached base on a walk.
- Jake Barrett led Oneonta with three hits and drove in two runs, while Patrick McGee, Michael Sabatine, Tyler Widercrantz and Andrew Bonilla all had multi-hit games.
- Jackson Troiano took the loss allowing four earned runs with a strike out and walk in three innings.
- Michael Losak picked up the win for the Red Dragons strucking out 11 batters with three walks and one unearned run in six innings.
GAME 2 – BOX SCORE
- SUNY Canton once again took an early lead in the nightcap with one run each in the first and second innings. Miner used a sacrifice fly to right to score Bougor in the first. Nieto followed with a RBI double down the left field line to score Nick Shoemaker in the second.
- Oneonta got within one scoring an unearned run in the fifth inning as Allen who got the start on the mound for the Roos was impressive through five innings.
- The Red Dragon bats finally solved the Canton starter in the sixth getting four runs off him as the Oneonta bats exploded for eight runs in the sixth inning which proved to be the difference.
- Allen struck out two batters and walked three in five innings of work.
- Kyle Rosenberger picked up the win for Oneonta throwing three innings in relief allowing just one hit and no runs with three strike outs.
