Zach Miner had two hits each but the Clarkson bats exploded for 20 hits in a 24-5 win v. the SUNY Canton baseball team in a non-conference game on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Clarkson jumped out to an early 10-0 lead after three innings scoring five runs each in the second and third innings.
- The Roos would get two back in the top half of the fourth. Jesus Garcia drew a leadoff walk and moved to second on a passed ball. Miner doubled to right to score Garcia. With two outs in the inning Noah Reyes legged out an infield single to bring home Miner.
- The Golden Knights continued to pour it on offensively adding a run in the fourth, two in the fifth and eighth and a nine spot in the sixth inning.
- Canton tacked on a run in the sixth when Nathan Welch scored Don Louis Rodriguez on a sacrifice fly to left. The Roos would add two more in the seventh when Miner plated Reed on a single up the middle and Rodriguez grounded into a double play scoring Garcia.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Reed, Garcia and Miner led the Roos with two hits each, while Rodriguez, Reyes and Kevin Kapfer all had hits.
- Danny Cantor and Sean Eddington had three hits each for the Knights with Eddington and Colby Brouillette combining to drive in nine runs.
- Joseph Godomsky earned the win for Clarkson throwing three innings of scoreless ball striking out two.
- Dylan Allen took the loss for Canton allowing 10 runs with five walks and a strike out in 2.2 innings.
