Chelsey Raven recorded her 12th double-double of the season as the SUNY Canton women's basketball team fell in the final seconds, 55-54, to SUNY Cobleskill in both team's regular season finale on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Roos led by as many as six in the opening quarter and took a 16-14 lead after 10 minutes.
- Canton had a dominate second quarter outscoring the Fighting Tigers 18-7. The hosts opened their largest lead of the game at 15 with 2:59 left in the first half. The Roos took a 34-21 lead into the locker room.
- Cobleskill finished with a slim 13-11 scoring advantage in the third quarter, but the Roos still held a double digit lead (45-34) after 30 minutes.
- The Tigers used a 7-0 run to start the fourth quarter to get within four. The Roos were held scoreless in the fourth until Raven scored a fast break layup with 4:22 remaining.
- Canton still owned a six point lead after Borth drained a three with 3:39 to go.
- Annie Canales answered with a three for the Tigers and Hannah Cater followed with a layup with 1:07 to play putting the visitors on top 53-52.
- The Roos missed a pair of inside scoring opportunities on the ensuing possession and Canales knocked down a pair of free throws to extend the Cobleskill lead to three with 33 seconds to go.
- Canton missed a pair of three-pointers as the Tigers used multiple fouls they had to give to disrupt the Roos offense. Canton continued to hit the offensive glass and Shanelle Borth converted on a layup with two seconds remaining. Despite a pair of missed free throws from Cobleskill with 1 second remaining time ran out on the Roos as they could only manage a desperation heave.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Raven led all players in both points (15) and rebounds (16). Antanasia Chambers netted 14 points, all of which came in the first half. Samantha Dayter chipped in seven points, seven assists and six rebounds, while Borth added six points and 10 rebounds but struggled to find her shooting touch.
- TyLysa Martinez (11), Cater (11) and Canales (10) all reached double figures for Cobleskill.
- The Roos had the upper hand in rebounds (56-48) and turned 20 offensive rebounds into an 18-7 second chance points advantage. Â

This concludes the regular season for the women's basketball team. The Roos will square off with the Fighting Tigers again in a NAC Tournament Semifinal game on Friday at SUNY Poly.Â
