Delhi, NY – Cazenovia twice overcame a set deficit as the SUNY Canton women's volleyball team fell in five sets 3-2 (25-12, 23-25, 25-18, 18-25, 10-15) to the Wildcats in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) quarterfinal match on Saturday at SUNY Delhi.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Roos jumped out to a 12-3 lead on their way to a dominating 25-12 win in the opening set.
- The second stanza was much closer with Canton opening the largest lead of the frame at 18-13 after a Cazenovia service error. The Roos led 23-20 but the Wildcats battled back to score the final five points of the set taking it 25-23.
- Canton used a key 7-0 run to open a 17-13 lead closing out the third set with four consecutive points including an ace from Bailey Nadeau and a kill from Emily Dreyer.
- After the Roos got within three points late in the fourth frame, the Wildcats scored five of the final six points for a 25-18 victory.
- The match went to a decisive fifth set and midway through the teams were tied at nine apiece. However, the Wildcats put away the set and match scoring six of the final seven points to win, 15-10.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Alyssa Adams tied a match-high with 11 kills hitting .323 on 31 swings (11-1-31). Dreyer chipped in seven kills, while Kaylee Clark tied a match-high with 28 digs. Michaella DeCapua recorded 26 digs to go with 15 assists and a match-best five aces. Nadeau chipped in with 12 digs, 11 assists and three aces.
- Karissa Decosse and Taryn Anderson led the Wildcats with 11 and 10 kills, respectively. Sophia Ferris posted a match-best 28 digs, while Decosse added 23.
