Marcy, NY – Briana Brousseau led the Roos with seven points but first place SUNY Poly earned a 72-46 win v. the SUNY Canton women's basketball team on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- SUNY Poly jumped out to a 22-7 lead after the opening quarter and took a commanding 41-17 lead into intermission.
- The Wildcats extended their lead in the second half before the Roos were able to outscore the hosts 12-5 over the final 10 minutes.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- SUNY Poly shot 48.4% from the field and hit on 50% of their three-point attempts. SUNY Canton shot 44.4% from behind the arc.
- The Wildcats held advantages in rebounds (44-33), points in the paint (44-22), points off turnovers (19-8) and second chance points (14-3). Canton had the edge in bench points (24-10).
- Brousseau tallied seven points and four rebounds in 19 minutes. Chelsey Raven and Mya Hodge chipped in six points apiece, while Shanelle Borth and Seattle Lettau had five points each.
- Lyrik Jackson paced Poly with 21 points, while Lauren Denny and Kierra Connor added 15 and 12, respectively.
