Canton, NY – Chelsey Raven led a balanced offense with her ninth double-double of the season as the SUNY Canton women's basketball team earned an important 64-41 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) win v. NVU-Johnson on Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Roos stormed out of the gates holding a 17-2 lead after the opening quarter behind seven first quarter points from Raven.
- Play was much more even in the second quarter with the Badgers actually holding a slim 19-16 edge as they cut the deficit to 33-21 at intermission.
- SUNY Canton regrouped coming out of halftime dominating play once again scoring 16 points while holding Johnson to just four points. The Roos led 49-25 after three quarters.
- Canton would extend its lead to as many as 32 early in the fourth quarter as numerous reserves saw plenty of action in the convincing victory.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Raven finished with a game-high 21 points and added 11 rebounds on 10-for-16 shooting. Mya Hodge had a strong performance with 11 points and six boards on 5-for-10 shooting.
- Antanasia Chambers chipped in seven points, 10 rebounds, four assists and a team-high four steals. Briana Brousseau finished with seven points and seven rebounds in just nine minutes of action, while Samantha Dayter dished out a game-high six assists.
- Halie Tillotson paced the visitors with 18 points, while Paris Atuahene added 10 points. Gabriella Wardwell ripped down a game-best 18 rebounds.
- The Roos dominated the glass 66-43, while holding the upper hand in bench points (27-5) and points in the paint (34-12).

The women's basketball team has a quick turnaround as they host Bryant and Stratton Syracuse on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
