Cazenovia, NY – Shanelle Borth scored a career-high 26 points in a SUNY Canton uniform to lead the women's basketball team to a 70-66 road North Atlantic Conference (NAC) win at Cazenovia College on Friday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Roos jumped out to a 15-12 lead after the opening quarter and used a strong second stanza to take a 37-27 lead into intermission.
• Canton extended their lead to 14 after the third quarter before Cazenovia made a late run in the final minutes.

 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• Borth had an impressive performance leading all players with 26 points and added eight rebounds. She shot 11-for-18 from the field. Chelsey Raven recorded her eighth double-double of the season with 18 points and 12 rebounds hitting on seven of her 12 field goal attempts. Samantha Dayter chipped in seven rebounds, five points and five assists.
• Arrianna Henry led the Wildcats with 20 points, while Lucia Liverio (17), Riley Miner (12) and Mackenzie Bennett (10) all reached double figures.
• The Roos controlled the boards 50-34 and outscored the Cazenovia reserves, 16-0.
