Canton, NY – Victoria Hanna finished the day with 11 saves but the offense erupted as visiting Oswego State earned a 5-0 win against the SUNY Canton women's soccer team in a non-league game on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Oswego State jumped out to an early lead 24 minutes in behind a pair of goals from Elizabeth Myers. Maggie Riordan had an assist on each score, while Therese Persichetty added a helper on the first goal and Luigina Serrao chipped in on the second.
- The Lakers added a goal off the foot of Jackie Marquardt with the setup from Katie Delgrosso to take a 3-0 lead into intermission.
- Oswego tacked on a fourth goal 28 seconds out of halftime and added a late marker from Andrea Hernandez for the 5-0 final.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- The 11 saves by Hanna are the fifth most in a single game in her career. She made 136 total saves during her rookie season in 2021.
- Haley Muehl turned aside one shot for the Lakers.
- Sarah Riedel finished with Canton's shot on goal, her first shot of the young season.
