Skylar Williams made 12 saves as the SUNY Canton women's soccer team earned a 1-1 double overtime draw v. visiting SUNY Environmental Science & Forestry in a non-league game on Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Roos got on the board just 46 seconds into the game on Pinkerton's first career goal. Hailey Bentley found Paige Gotch up the left side and she delivered a one-touch pass to Pinkerton sprinting up the center of the field. Pinkerton caught Mighty Oaks keeper Helena O'Shea off her line and chipped a shot off the left post and in.
- SUNY ESF held a 5-2 shots on goal advantage in the opening half but the Roos led 1-0 at intermission.
- The Mighty Oaks found the equalizer early in the 58th minute. Madeline Eggenberger played the ball up the left sideline to Linda Arterburn who delivered a pass to Mackenzie Konisewski in the middle. Skylar Williams came charging off her line but Konisewski timed a perfect shot just inside the left post to knot the game at one.
- ESF held a 6-2 shots on goal advantage in the second half but the teams would remain tied headed to overtime.
- The Mighty Oaks had a golden chance just less than four minutes into OT. Kelly Cooper ripped a shot from 30 yards out that struck off the cross bar just past the reaching finger tips of Williams.
- Williams made one save in each overtime to preserve the tie for the Roos.

- Williams was outstanding all night as she finished with 12 saves for the Roos.
- O'Shea turned aside three shots for the Mighty Oaks.
- Pinkerton, Hailey Bentley, Morgan Nealon and Alexis Sullivan registered shots on goal for SUNY Canton.
