Canton, NY – The SUNY Canton Esports teams continue their strong fall semester seasons as the Roos have begun play in the State University of New York (SUNY) league playoffs, while the teams are winding down the final week of the regular season in Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) play in a number of titles. Meanwhile both of SUNY Canton's League of Legends teams are still alive in their playoffs, which began Saturday.
In the SUNY league the Roos feature teams in Rocket League, Rainbow Six Siege, Call of Duty: MW Gunfight, Splitgate, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Overwatch, Guilty Gear Strive and Valorant.
SUNY Canton has squads competing in ECAC play in Overwatch, Rocket League, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Rainbow Six Siege, Valorant and Fortnite.
Through matches played on Saturday, November 13 SUNY Canton's Esports teams boast a record of 115-89 overall.
LEAGUE OF LEGENDS - ECAC PLAYOFFS
SUNY Canton has two League of Legends (LoL) teams. League of Legends competes in a separate ECAC league from the rest of the titles, and playoffs for LoL began this past weekend.
The Roos 'A' team handled business earning 2-0 wins over both
St. Lawrence University and Stockton University. Meanwhile, the 'B' team picked up a 2-0 decision against
California State University Monterey Bay.
Both teams are back in playoff action on Saturday (11/20) at 3 p.m. with the 'A' team taking on Stevenson University and the 'B' team facing off with Penn State Behrend. With a victory on Saturday both teams will advance to their respective tournament finals.

SUNY PLAY
The Roos completed the regular season with a number of wins including a pair of key victories against the University at Buffalo by both the Rainbow Six Siege 'A' team, who earned a
2-0 win on October 27th, and the Rocket League 'A' team who picked up a
3-0 sweep v. the Bulls on November 2nd.
SUNY Canton had teams in Overwatch, Guilty Gear Strive, Call of Duty: MW Gunfight, Rocket League, Valorant and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate all qualify for the SUNY Playoffs. All of the Roos teams are still alive in postseason action except the Valorant 'B' squad and the Overwatch JV team who dropped their opening round playoff matches.
Playoff action continues tonight (11/15) with all five of the Roos' Guilty Gear Strive teams in action along with the Overwatch Varsity team.
Tuesday's playoff schedule includes Rocket League and COD: MW Gunfight matchups, Wednesday features a Valorant match v. Binghamton as well as Rainbow Six Siege playoff games and Thursday the week's playoff matches conclude with a Splitgate match v. Albany. To view all postseason matchups, visit our

ECAC PLAY- REGULAR SEASON
SUNY Canton is nearing the completion of the regular season in ECAC play with its final week before playoffs this week. Some key victories over the last couple of weeks include when the Overwatch JV team upset the
University of Albany, 3-0, on October 30th. The League of Legends team also earned a 2-0 sweep v. Kean University on November 6th.
