Morrisville, NY – Tiffany Dicenzo scored a pair of goals to lead host Morrisville State to a 3-0 win v. the SUNY Canton women's soccer team in a nonconference contest on Wednesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Mustangs got on the board in the 22nd minute when Madison Pelton picked off a Roos defensive clear. She played a ball into the box as Ashley Tette cut the ball back from left to right and fired a shot into the top left corner.
- Dicenzo doubled the Morrisville lead in the 41st minute off another Canton defensive miscue. Laura Bedell dispossessed a Roos player of the ball and quickly found Dicenzo who ripped a shot from way out beating Canton keeper Skylar Williams into the upper 90.
- Morrisville held a 3-1 shots on goal advantage and took a 2-0 lead into halftime.
- Dicenzo added her second tally of the game in the 61st minute. Tette crossed the ball from the right side to Dicenzo waiting on the left as she put a shot back across the face of goal for the 3-0 final.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Williams finished with five saves in goal for the Roos. The reigning North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Defender of the Week now has 51 saves on the season.
- Meaghan Miller made one save over the first 77 minutes, while Melanie Rott did not face a shot over the final 13 minutes in relief.
- Autumn Kunes posted the lone shot on goal for the Roos.

The Roos travel to Maine for a weekend conference series. SUNY Canton is set to visit Husson on Saturday at 11 a.m. followed by a Sunday matchup at Maine Presque Isle at 12 p.m.
