Erin Parks all recorded four or more points but a strong second half lifted Carroll University to a 15-12 win over the SUNY Canton women's lacrosse team on Monday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The teams were fairly matched early on with the game tied at four apiece midway through the first half. The Roos scored three unanswered goals with one off the stick of Logan Bush and the other two coming from Stephanie Thayer to take a 7-4 lead into intermission.
- The Roos lost senior captain Molly Denny just 1 minute 15 seconds into the second half on her second yellow card of the game which proved to be crucial.
- Canton continued to hold a three-goal lead after Bush found Dayter for her ninth goal of the season with 21:42 to play.
- From there the Pioneers controlled play outscoring Canton 9-3 the remainder of the way with all three Roos goals coming from Parks.
- Dayter finished with two goals and team-highs of three assists and four draw controls. Bush tallied three goals an assist to go with a game-high four ground balls. Parks led the Roos with four goals, while Thayer tallied two and Denny posted one. Casey Pelton also recorded her first collegiate point on an assist.
- Courtenay Karls paced the Pioneers with six goals and an assist, while Michaela Johnson added three goals and three assists. Clara Jelacic posted a game-best 14 draw controls.
- Madison Leary turned aside nine shots in net for Canton, while Alicia Van Dale made six saves for Carroll. The Pioneers held a 20-9 advantage overall in draw controls.

The Roos are back in action on Friday when they take on Westfield State University in Florida.
