Canton, NY – The SUNY Canton Esports teams had another strong week of competition in the Fall 2020 semester as it posted a 23-10 record (.696 winning percentage) across nine titles.  
 
This week's competition featured League of Legends PlayVs, matches across five titles in ECAC play, along with six titles in the second week of State University of New York (SUNY) competition, a new conference of esports play which SUNY Canton helped to launch. In addition, competition in the ECAC HV Gamer Con Playoffs began.  
 
The Roos took on their fellow competitors in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Valorant, Rocket League, Overwatch and Fortnite in ECAC play. Meanwhile, SUNY Canton featured games in Smite, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Call of Duty: MW Gunfight, Valorant, Rainbow Six Siege and Fortnite in SUNY competition.

ECAC Super Smash Bros. Ultimate A | SUNY Canton 2, Central CT State 0 | RESULTS
The Roos defeated Central Connecticut State in straight games by scores of 4-0 and 1-0 in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate play on Monday evening.  
 
ECAC Super Smash Bros. Ultimate B | SUNY Canton 2, Bethel 1 | RESULTS
After dropping the opening game, 1-0, SUNY Canton responded with 4-0 and 1-0 wins to earn a 2-1 win v. Bethel College in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on Monday.
 
ECAC Super Smash Bros. Ultimate C | New York Tech 2, SUNY Canton 0 | RESULTS  
New York Tech defeated the Roos by a pair of 2-0 scores in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate play on Monday.
 
ECAC Valorant | SUNY Canton 2, Moravian 0 | RESULTS
The Roos cruised past Moravian College with a pair of 13-2 wins in ECAC Valorant play on Tuesday. The Valorant team improves to 2-1 overall on the season.

In SUNY Rocket League play on Tuesday SUNY Canton defeated SUNY Cortland in straight games. The Roos controlled play 5-1 in the opening game before earning narrow victories in Games 2 and 3 by scores of 4-3 and 3-2, respectively.

Suny Canton earned a 2-1 victory over SUNY Oneonta winning the first and third games to secure a close win.
