Canton, NY – Noah Robinson led SUNY Canton with four goals but the men's lacrosse team dropped an 18-8 decision to Castleton on Thursday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Robinson totaled four goals, while Jacob Facey added two goals and one assist. Hunter Olsen finished with a pair of goals and Josh Yelvington tallied a pair of assists.
- Castleton jumped out to a 3-0 lead but a pair of Robinson tallies got Canton within one as the Spartans led 4-2 after the first.
- Robinson's third goal of the half trimmed the deficit to 4-3 but Castleton scored four straight and 10 of the next 11 to open up a 14-4 advantage with 4:39 left in the third quarter.
- Facey scored late in the third and Robinson and Facey added fourth quarter goals for the 18-8 final.
- Brandon Schmidt posted a team-best four ground balls, while Hunter Yerdon caused a game-high four turnovers.
- The Roos turned the ball over 28 times, while the Spartans had a 35-25 advantage in ground balls.
- Kyle Lutinski led Castleton with four goals and two assists, while Cameron Russell and Colin Clark had three goals and two assists each.
- Justin LaDuke made 13 saves in the loss for the Roos, while Brandon Myron made eight saves in the first half to earn the win. Maxx Ingison turned aside six shots after halftime.
