Farmington, ME – Robert Holliday, Jr. tallied a team-best 18 points but the SUNY Canton men's basketball team fell 85-74 to Husson University in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) semifinal contest on Friday evening.
The Eagles advance to the NAC Championship to take on Thomas College, while this ends the 2018-19 season for the Roos.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Holliday, Jr. posted a team-high 18 points to go with nine rebounds, while Jordan Stewart chipped in 13 points. Joseph Werner added 10 points, while Andrew Fitch totaled nine points and a game-high 13 rebounds. Kahdean Bennett added eight points in 10 minutes off the bench.
- Husson stormed out of the gates leading 32-9 with 7:48 remaining in the opening half. The Eagles took a 46-23 lead into intermission.
- The Roos trimmed the lead to 11 points (64-53) with 6:16 remaining and to single digits at nine points following a Holliday, Jr. three with 1:20 remaining. Husson held on for the victory.
- DJ Bussey led four Husson players in double figures with 26 points, while Justin Martin added 20. Corey Kaiser (15) and Justin Thompson (14 points, 10 rebounds) also scored in double figures.
