Santana Scores Game-High 17 as Men’s Basketball Drops Contest v. Rams

Old Westbury, NY – Despite a strong second half, the Roos dropped a contest v. Farmingdale State at Old Westbury on Saturday evening. Danny Santana led the squad with 19 points and seven rebounds.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • After a back and forth first half, Farmingdale led 36-19 as the teams headed into the locker room. The Roos came out strong in the second half outscoring Farmingdale 40-35, but fell short.
  • Santana led the Roos with 19 points and seven rebounds.
  • Andrew Fitch tallied 11 points with five rebounds, while teammate Quran DuBois posted nine points and haule down five boards.
  • Brandon Blaker hcipped in a season-high six points in nine minutes off the bench. 
  • De'Shawn Todman and Hunter Schenkel led the Rams with 11 points apiece, while Ryan Kennedy (10) also scored in double figures.

The Roos have a quick turnaround as they visit John Jay College on Sunday at 2 p.m.
