Castine, ME – SUNY Canton posted eight shots on goal, but fell 2-0 in a conference road tilt to Maine Maritime. The Mariners now sit at 3-1-0 in conference play while SUNY Canton falls to 3-2-0 in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• After a back-and-forth first half, both teams were held scoreless at intermission with SUNY Canton being out shot, 8-5.
• The home team took a lead in the 54th minute with a Matt Carson free kick from about 30 yards out.
• Maine Maritime added an insurance goal in the 62nd minute when Dalton Moore headed in a corner kick.
• Ellis Sanchez led Canton with eight shots, while Dawson Pellerin picked up three saves.
